Events - 30 Hour Famine

For 30 hours, participants get a taste of hunger by not eating - something more than a billion people around the world experience every day. And by doing fundraising activities, community service projects, and learning more about the facts of world hunger, students are changed in amazing ways as they help others and save lives.

Here are some details:

• What: 30 Hour Famine
• Where: Coquitlam Christ Church of China
• When: Friday April 30 @ 8:00pm - Saturday May 1 @ 8:00pm (the famine will continue until Sunday morning so you will have to keep it up yourself!)
• Before the famine: Spread the word about the famine, collect donations from friends and family and let them know you are involved in the 30 hour famine, hand in a signed disclaimer and release form, invite friends to join!
• During the famine: Participate in activities, learn about food crisis, have fellowship with others, resist food for 30 hours
• Sleepover: Bring your toiletry accessories, pillow, sleeping bag, blanket
