Learning and Growing with AWANA:

CCCC Awana clubs teach the gospel of Christ to children from Kindergarten through high school.  Throughout the program, children are rewarded from memorizing bible verses and completing character building activities.  Younger children learn through games, crafts and puppets – wonderful learning tools for this age.  As they grow, children are introduced to small group interaction, community outreach, apologetics and life application of the gospel.

CCCC Awana clubs typically meet weekly.  Sessions are run by individuals with a passion for sharing their faith with children.  Each Awana club is a ministry of the church which sponsors it and follows the Awana approved curriculum.  Uniforms are available and the younger children wear vests.

CCCC Awana programs offer fun, friendship and serious Christian teaching that supports the teaching children receiving at home and at church.  Awana provides a comfortable place to learn and grow along with peers who share their faith.  Awana also reaches out to unchurched youth, providing them with an enjoyable and comfortable introduction to Jesus.  Awana is an excellent choice for parents who would like their children to learn Christian values while participating in a club

CCCC Awana Clubs include:

Cubbies (preschoolers):

Lots of fun and an introduction to God’s word for preschoolers, Cubbies encourages these little ones to begin to make scripture a part of their lives through parent-child activities. Cubbies is unique because it supports and maintains parents as the primary source of spiritual nurturing by directly involving them in the teaching and learning process. Cubbies uses the fundamental Awana elements of games, activities and Bible memorization.

Sparks (k—2nd graders):

Friendship building and the gospel message for K—2nd graders, Sparks teaches children about Jesus through games and introduces small peer-group interaction.

Each club meeting has three parts. In Game Time, Sparkies enjoy entertaining games played on the Awana Game Circle. During Green Meadow Time, Sparkies gather for their age-appropriate Bible lesson. During Sparkle Time, clubbers recite Bible verses from memory, complete handbook sections, and earn awards. Sparky, the friendly firefly, appears throughout the Bible-based materials to encourage clubbers to complete their handbook achievements.

T & T (Truth & Training)/ 3rd – 6th graders:

T &T leads 3rd – 6th graders into a deeper relationship with God and teaches them to reach out to others through mission. Game Time clubbers play exciting games on the Awana Game Circle. During Council Time they have a Bible lesson. During Handbook Time, clubbers recite Bible verses from memory, complete their handbook and get their awards.
